Pick-up of starter packs
Pick-up of start packages will be possible on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the wooden house on the terrace next to the Arena Hotel in the Snow Stadium. There is a large parking lot under the hotel, where you can park free of charge for the first two hours. At the parking meter, you just take the slip with the marked arrival time and put it on the dashboard.
Bring your ID with you. Do not take the equipment with you, as we will carry out an inspection of the mandatory VOLVEL equipment and an inspection of the mandatory JEZERNIK equipment on the bus when we drive to the start. And for those who will come to the start on their own, the equipment will be checked just before the start. Therefore, you have to be at the charter place 30 minutes before the officially announced start (Slovenj Gradec at 7:00 a.m., Lovrenc na Pohorju at 10:30 a.m.). Those of you who will not be able to pick up the start packages on Friday, will get them on the bus (if you go with organized transport) or before the start (if you come on your own). If you request, you can also get the package outside of these arranged times by contacting us (call or e-mail).

Informative meeting with instructions
We will carry out the informative meeting via video conference. You will be informed of the date and time by e-mail and/or text message. You will also be able to participate in the "online" presentation by asking questions. Those who will not be able to attend the meeting will be able to watch the recording that we will publish on our website. If you have any additional questions, we will be happy to answer them.

We highly recommend participating in the meeting or watching the recording, as you will be provided with a lot of information from the field and useful instructions.
Accommodation
We recommend accommodation in Hotel Arena to everyone who will come to Maribor on Thursday or Friday. The finish line of the competition and the final event will also be there.
There will also be a pick-up point for start packages and a point (opposite of Gondola Apartment at Pohorska ulica 55) near the hotel, where the bus will pick you up and take you to the start in Slovenj Gradec or Lovrenc na Pohorje.
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there is also the lower station of the cable car, Pohorjet, mountain bike rental, bike park, bus station (line number 6), ...
The bus that will take you to Slovenj Gradec and Lovrenc na Pohorju will stop on Pohorska cesta 300 m below the lower station of the cable car, on the part of the road intended for bus parking (opposite of the Gondola Apartment at Pohorska ulica 55). There are paid parking lots below Pohorje on the left and right. Free parking is a few 100 meters down to the north, at the Arena optics.
The bus to Slovenj Gradec will leave at 05:00, and the bus to Lovrenc na Pohorje at 09:00. Be at the station at least 10 minutes before the bus leaves.
All those who have booked bus transport with payment will receive a ticket in the start package. Everyone who will come to the start with their own transport or public transport must be at the start 30 minutes before the officially announced starting time (Slovenj Gradec at 7:00 a.m., Lovrenc na Pohorju at 10:30 a.m.).
